Jon McNaught 

Chief Legal Officer & Private Equity Portfolio Manager

Jon received his Juris Doctorate degree from the OU College of Law in 1988. The first portion of Jon’s legal career was spent largely ‘in-house’ for two different companies, including Advance Food Company.   In the early 2000’s, Jon made a significant career decision to work primarily on small business and private equity transactions and the related structure and management of private equity companies and deals. 

Jon’s current focus at Square Deal Capital is to provide results-oriented business and legal guidance and solutions to individuals, investor groups, businesses and companies. During his tenure at Square Deal, Jon has been afforded the opportunity to work on a very diverse range of transactions and legal issues, and believes that he’s worked harder and gained more personal satisfaction than at any prior time in his more than 30 years in the practice of law.

Outside of Square Deal, Jon enjoys mentoring entrepreneurs, serving on a number of not-for profit boards, and lives in Norman with his lovely wife and three children.
